Jindal Coke Limited is a company incorporated on 2nd December, 2014 under the Companies Act, 2013, and has its registered office at O.P. Jindal Marg, Hisar 125005, Haryana. It is engaged in the business of manufacturing, processing, finishing and dealing in all kinds and forms of coke and coke products at a facility with a capacity of 0.43 million metric tonnes p.a. at Kalinganagar Industrial Complex, Duburi, Jajpur, Odisha. It has also acquired inter alia the coke oven undertaking from Jindal Stainless Limited pursuant to the Composite Scheme of Arrangement among Jindal Stainless Limited, Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Limited, Jindal United Steel Limited and Jindal Coke Limited and their respective shareholders and creditors sanctioned by the Hon’ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh vide its Order dated 21st September, 2015 (as modified on 12th October, 2015 by the High Court).

Jindal Coke Limited is one of the largest independent producers of coke in India with an installed capacity of 0.43 MTPA. Jindal Coke Limited is strategically located at East Coast of India, in close vicinity of Paradip port at Odisha, which caters the need of fast growing markets of steel based at Odisha, Raigarh, West Bengal & Chhattisgarh region.

Jindal Coke Limited’s Coke oven is a state of the art plant with stamp charged and full recovery and is one of the best coke making facility in the entire country. The coke battery comprises of 64 ovens in Phase 1 and there is a provision for installing 2nd battery in Phase 2. There is a Railway Siding inside the plant premises which facilitates movement of coke in rake load quantities to meet customer’s requirement of coke. We extract possible By-products like Coal tar which is used in various industries. The Coke Oven gas is used as heating fuel in plant.

Mr. Ratan Jindal

A Commerce graduate and alumnus of the Wharton School of Management, Mr. Rattan Jindal’s focus has not only been on producing world class stainless steel flat products but, also on promoting the usage of stainless steel. It is this vision of his, which has given birth to companies such as, Jindal Architecture, Jindal Stainless Steelway and arttdinox. All these initiative have played a major role in implementing Mr. Jindal’s zeal for promotion of stainless steel and have in a small way played a role in shaping the modern urban infrastructure of the country, be it the Airports, Delhi Metro, Bus Shelters, or malls. These initiatives of his, have in their own small way have contributed in making India the third largest producer of stainless steel in the world, in little over four decades.

His apt leadership skills have made Jindal Stainless the largest integrated stainless steel producer in the country and has put Jindal Stainless amongst the top 10 global stainless steel producers. Today Jindal Stainless boasts of 1.8 million ton capacity and a revenue in excess of $ 2.0 bn USD.

Following on his father's footsteps, Shri O.P. Jindal who believed that, "without the upliftment of weak and backward sections of the society, a nation can never prosper", Mr Rattan Jindal has made Corporate Social Responsibility an integral part of Inclusive Management. He is the Chairman of the Board of a 600 bedded multi-specialty charitable hospital and also devotes time to oversee the functioning of two large schools, where more than 4000 students from all sections of society get access to education. and no differentiation is done between the have and the have not's.

Mr. Shashibhushan Shobhnath Upadhyay is a Metallurgy Engineer from Government College of Engineering, Pune. He possesses an experience of over 23 years in the areas of Project Management, Plant Operations & Maintenance, Logistics, Commercial Operations, Material Sourcing and Contracting, Vendor Management.

Mr. Gautam Kanjilal

Mr. Gautam Kanjilal, a post-graduate in Economics, started his career as a Probationary Officer in July 1972 at State Bank of India. In his more than 37 years of service in SBI, he held many important administrative and business assignments covering a large matrix of banking operations, including credit management and forex. He was also posted at the corporate headquarters of SBI Capital Markets Ltd, the merchant banking arm of SBI, where his responsibilities covered project finance, debt syndication and handling capital issues. Among the important assignments he subsequently held in SBI were as AGM (Planning), Kolkata, Dy. General Manager (Accounts & Compliance) at SBI’s Corporate Centre, Mumbai, Chief Executive Officer of SBI’s New York operations, General Manager (Mid-Corporate), Kolkata and lastly as Chief General Manager, Delhi Circle, from which post he superannuated.

Mr. Udai Vashisht

Mr. Udai Vashisht is a MBA in Finance and Strategy from Cardiff Buisness School, Whales, England. He possesses an experience of about 14 years in the areas of internal audit, process re-engineering and compliances under Sarbanes Oxley law.

Mrs. Vaishali Deshmukh

Mrs. Deshmukh is a Science Graduate along with Post Graduate in Social Work in Labour Welfare and Personnel Management. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Management. She has 15 years of experience in Public Health Research in the area of Child Health. Her research experience focuses on managing and co-coordinating multisite studies, implementing them at the ground level, and contributing it to scientific knowledge.
